Vacation Rental DescriptionNOW OPEN FOR WINTER! A large home on 40 acres that is very private yet only one half mile from US-41 and in the very center of the spectacular Keweenaw Peninsula.This is a very private property with absolute quiet for you. There are ski trails, snowmobiling areas, and incredible starry views out skylights in the master bedroom and the hot tub room. The sauna outside is an absolutely incredible and private experience. Snowshoes are available and so are sleds! Please call me at 406 - 449-0521 for details. We have 15 feet + of snow every year!!! This will be a very special vacation for you! I forgot to mention the wood stove/ fireplace... A large spring - fed pond offers great swimming, a shaded picnic area, fishing for trout up to 20', and a very special wood fired sauna with a diving deck suspended over the water in the center of the pond. Lots of room to roam, see and hear wildlife, and pick planted and wild berries and fruit. The house is equally unique with a hot tub in the sun room, a master bedroom with a skylight over the bed, fantastic views, and custom black ash woodwork. The front porch features wrap around windows, pine paneling and a great sunrise view. A wood stove/fireplace is located in the central living room. Large windows on both west facing levels have a 10 mile view over the wild forests and valleys of the Keweenaw. This is an absolutely private and unique natural setting.
