Located perpendicular to the terminus of the breakwater, the beach affords safe swimming in the lagoon for young children with ocean surf a few feet away for adults. A variety of dining on the peninsula and nightlife within walking distance. Located one hour from Los Angeles, Burbank, and LAX airports. South of Santa Barbara one half hour. Shopping is plentiful.
