The Pines is a great getaway. For outside activitities, enjoy swimming, sunbathing, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, cycling, hiking, and more! If that sounds like a little more activity than you would like, you can always enjoy the lake views from the fuly glassed porch - just 20 feet from the lake! Our fall season guests often enjoy the sunsets from the lakeside porch and then enjoy their current novel in front of the fire place.For calendar year 2007, guests that mention OVRENTALS will get a 20% discount on all stays in the Pines and the Maples during the months of June, August, September , and October. Pictured is one of three contiguous summer cottages located directly on Lake Champlain on the Missisquoi Bay in West Swanton, Vermont. Located on a private road, each cottage has 60 feet of lake frontage, and faces Lake Champlain to the west, for great sunset views. Included in the rental fee is a 14-foot aluminum boat (which is registered for use with your motor) and a 50-foot dock. A 3600-pound capacity boat hoist is also available upon request.. A public boat access is located less than one mile away. The beach is a mixture of sand and shale with a gradual drop-off, making it ideal for children. The cottage is just one hour from Montreal, four hours from Boston, and six hours from New York City. Rentals run from Saturday to Saturday.. We do offer the cottages for rent for a a limited number of stays under 1 week (3 days or more) , please contact us for details.
