Vacation Rental DescriptionClassic Maine oceanfront summer cottage. Relax on our screened porch or deck overlooking the water. Enjoy gorgeous sunsets and unsurpassed views of islands, lighthouses, lobster boats, eagles, seals, ospreys and other wildlife. World class fishing for striped bass off the rocks in front of the cottage. The cottage is just steps from the water and has its own cove and a large lawn where you can play catch, croquet or simply sit in the shade. White Rocks offers great kayaking, with local kayak rentals delivered to the cottage. Launch your kayaks from our cove or from our private dock. Oustanding street or mountain biking on the many miles of backroads and off-road trails in the area.White Rocks is in excellent condition and is nicely furnished. The cottage has a full kitchen, dining room, living room, large bathroom, TV, and VCR/DVD player. Sheets and towels are provided. The bedrooms sleep four comfortably and have water views. A twin sofa bed in the living room will sleep a fifth person. Near beautiful Reid State Park's miles of sandy beaches, saltwater swimming lagoon, tidal pools, and hiking trails. A free park pass is provided with rental of the cottage. Scenic boat trips, wildlife preserve, lobster wharf, art gallery, and great restaurants are also nearby. The cottage is in a private location at the end of a quiet country road.
