Vacation Rental DescriptionBeautiful two-bedroom home with sea views. Has open plan living room and kitchen-cum dining area. High ceilings, telephone, SKY TV, 'relaxed feel' interior design, decor and furnishings. Two balconies on opposite sides of the home provide more space for outdoor views and relaxation. The one from the living room looks out to sea.Perfect for vacationers and business travellers who want to bring their family along with them. Also ideal for those relocating to Suva while they look for a permanent home. Used by previous guests as their main base in Fiji while they explore the rest of the country. Amenities: Includes full-size refrigerator, gas stove with oven, microwave, toaster, cookware and cutlery, iron, SKY Television and telephone. Bedrooms each have a double bed and built-in closets and dressers. Towels and bed linen provided. Optimal features : 1. Personal Computer with free Broadband Internet access to be provided from 1 June 2006. 2. Welcome supplies provided include coffee, tea, milk, bathing soap, dishwashing liquid, garbage bags and paper towels. 3. Daily newspapers provided for guests staying over 2 weeks. 4. Membership at local swimming pool and gym facilities can be provided to guests that stay longer than 4 weeks. This will include either 3 sessions at the gym or 3 sessions at the swimming pool, or a combination of both to make a total of 3 per week. Activities: Suva City, the capital of Fiji, is a cosmopolitan city with distinct colonial and Pacific Islands vibe. A number of landmarks include Parliament House, Government Buildings, Government House (where the Head of State resides), Borron House which is used by visiting dignitaries and guests of Government, Colo-i-Suva Forest Park and Nature Reserve, The Fiji Museum, The Botanical Gardens, Fiji Sports Complexes (including The National Aquatic Centre, The National Stadium, The National Gymnasium, and The National Fitness Centre), The University of the South Pacific and many colonial-era buildings. A new art gallery, Taketai, has just been opened for display of arts and handicrafts of local artists. Other nearby attractions include caves at Kalabu Village and Orchid Island with wildlife and thatched buildings. Pacific Harbour, which has beautiful white sandy beaches, the (Fijian) Arts Village and some other attractions, is an hour or so drive away. Area: Around 6 miles from the Capital City of Fiji, Suva, along the main thoroughfare between Suva and the next town of Nausori but with a convenient entry from a side road. The nearest international airport is located at Nausori, which has direct flight connections to selected cities in Australia and New Zealand. Flight connections from other countries are through Fiji's main international airport at Nadi, which is a 3 to 4 hour drive to Suva. Travel from the home to Suva is around Fijian Dollars 6.00 to 6.50 by taxi, one-way, or less than 1.00 Fijian Dollar by bus. Bus routes/stops around 100 meters nearby. Shopping centers and some restaurants located nearby travel to which from home by taxi would be around Fijian Dollars 3.20 to 3.50 return. Smoking within the home is not encouraged.
