Vacation Rental DescriptionAloha and welcome to Hale a u' i Lani (House of beautiful skies) in peaceful Kahana, Maui... located in the Pohailani-Maui Resort on Maui's famous West Coast, nestled between Ka'anapali and Kapalua.One of the best features of Hale a u’i Lani is the magnificent, unobstructed views from our spacious lanai. Located on the second floor, you will enjoy views of the islands of Moloka'i and Lana'i and the crystal blue water of the open seas in front you. You are guaranteed to see sunsets that will take your breath away, rainbows that pop up in mid-day, and whales jumping during their playing season. Inside our newly painted and remodeled studio-condo we have provided you with everything you will need to make your life on Maui easy and comfortable. A combination television/media center … for your listening and viewing pleasure; one unit for cable-TV, CDs, DVDs as well as VHS. As part of your entertainment package we have also supplied some great DVDs, relaxing Hawaiian music CDs, and a selection of novels for your enjoyment. A fully-equipped kitchen has been provided. (Kitchen will be remodeled in September 2006). Our studio-condo sleeps 2-3 people comfortably. We have provided a queen-size bed as well as a queen-size sleeper sofa for your comfort. When evening comes drift off to sleep with the sound of the surf and the glow of moonlight streaming across the bed. However you choose to spend your time on Maui, you will find the amenities available at our complex a good starting point; two relaxing pools, barbecue areas, and tennis courts are all available for your enjoyment. Discover tranquil Kahana Beach … just a few steps from our complex. You will find that it’s a perfect place to enjoy a morning jog or sunset stroll. For fun in the sun, grab some towels and head to the beach for snorkeling, swimming and sunning. Looking for a quiet place to relax and read a good book? Lounge chairs are located on the lawn in front of the complex at the water’s edge. For the “workout enthusiast”… just down the street is the Valley Isle Fitness Center. For shopping and dining, we are within easy walking distance of The Kahana Gateway Shopping Center; home to many fine restaurants and shops, such as Roy’s Kahana Bar and Grill, Fish and Game, Outback Steakhouse, and many others. For the more serious shopper, visit Whalers Village (just a 5 minute drive) in Ka’anapali or the shops and galleries in Lahaina Town (just a 10 minute drive). Whatever your needs, you will find it all right here and easily accessible. We have taken great pride in our Hawaiian home, and FOR YOU, we have created an atmosphere that is cozy, and inviting for your Maui experience.
