Spend a relaxing, fun-filled getaway at our home in the Wintergreen resort, nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Wintergreen is a year-round retreat, and we are conveniently located close to a variety of activities. We are located near the tennis complex and on the 18th fairway of the Devil's Knob golf course. For skiing, simply hop on the shuttle 50 yards from the front door. The Wintergarden Spa is a short stroll away. For those who simply want to unwind at home, we offer a whirlpool tub, a spacious deck, a complete kitchen, a warm fireplace, or an assortment of games, books, and local history. Kids will enjoy the wide variety of activities organized around skiing, golfing, and horseback riding. We also make good use of the babysitting services! Access is easy: simply descend a half flight of stairs to reach our unit. Our location is in the middle of the Fairway Woods Complex. Its structure allows for additional windows featuring views to the west and north. At 1015 square feet, this spacious floorplan accommodates beds for four (one king and two twins). This is ideal for two couples or a large family. Living The spacious living room is 15x17, and features a sofa and two chairs. Build a crackling fire in our fireplace, which has a raised, slate hearth. Firewood is supplied at the front of the bulding for free. For entertainment, a VCR and DVD player await anyone who wishes to bring their own movies or CDs. You can also rent titles in the valley or at the Blackrock Market. Cable TV is included. We also have a supply of board games and toys for the toddlers. Enjoy your morning coffee on our deck as the golfers make their way down the 18th fairway. Kitchen/Dining While we enjoy the local dining spots, we always cook at least major meal at home. Feel free to make yourself home in our 8x11 kitchen, which has all the necessary appliances. There is plenty of countertop space, and our oak cabinets are stocked with all the tools, supplies and spices to create your own masterpiece. At 10x10, the dining room comfortably seats 6. Bedrooms Both bedrooms are generously proportioned at approximately 12x15. The master features a king bed and TV, or a sitting area for quiet time or reading. The second bedroom will sleep 2, containing two twin beds. Bathrooms/Laundry Our bathrooms are spacious and feature cultured marble vanity tops and marble tile floors. The master bath features a whirlpool tub. Both bathrooms have mirrored walls. Pack light and plan to use our full sized washer and dryer. An iron is also supplied for your convenience.
