Vacation Rental DescriptionA beautiful holiday home sleeping 6-8 people in a quiet cul-de-sac in walking distance of Lagos and the beach. Private pool and sea views.OUTSIDE Nearest beach: Porto de Męs 900m Nearest supermarket: 600m Nearest bar/restaurant 300m Villa Adelia benefits from a central but quiet location in a residential area within walking distance of the picturesque harbour town of Lagos. The villa stands on its own mature plot which is well fenced and hedged. The pool measures 8x4m and has an adjacent paved sunbathing and picnic area with plenty of sunbeds. There is a built in brick barbecue and a separate area of lawn. There is a single car port and off road parking for a further car. To the side of the property, external stairs give access to the large upstairs patio. A further seating area and sunbeds provide the perfect spot from which to enjoy a cool drink and watch the sunset over the Atlantic. INSIDE Villa Adelia is unusual in design in that it has an upstairs family suite - two large bedrooms, one of which is accessed through the other. The layout is perfect for parents and children, with both bedrooms sharing a bathroom. All bedrooms have split-level air conditioning. Ground Floor Entrance via front door into the hallway. Good sized recently refurbished kitchen with dish washer, microwave, gas oven and hob, fridge freezer and separate chest freezer. Adjoining laundry room with washing machine. 1st Bedroom: Twin beds, fitted wardrobes and window onto garden. En suite bathroom with shower cubicle, 2nd Bedroom: Double bed, patio doors onto side terrace. Separate bathroom with bidet, bath and shower. Well furnished open-plan living/dining room with dining table seating 8, satellite TV Built in bar area with brick wine rack. Log burning fire. Stereo radio/tape/CD player. Safe for valuables. Two sets of patio doors onto pool terrace. First Floor Open-plan suite comprising 3rd and 4th bedrooms and a bathroom. 3rd bedroom: Double bed, window with sea view. Access is via 4th bedroom. 4th bedroom : Beautiful large airy room with twin beds, patio doors on two sides leading onto a large surrounding veranda with sea views. Access via stairs from lounge. Bathroom with bidet, bath and shower. There are several restaurants, cafes, a bar and a mini-market all within an easy walk of Villa Adelia. The nearest large supermarket is a few minutes' drive away. The historic harbour town of Lagos offers a wide range of local and international restaurants as well as bars, clubs, shops and an active marina. Car hire is not essential for a holiday at Villa Adelia but is recommended to make the most of any stay. We can arrange this for you through a reliable local company with competitive rates, to collect and deliver at Faro Airport. Please ask about car hire at the same time as making a booking enquiry. Local activities which can all be found in or around Lagos are horse riding, tennis, golf, bowls, sailing, boat trips, dolphin watching, deep sea fishing, jeep safaris, scuba diving and microlighting, to mention but a few. There are two waterslide parks within a short drive and a visit to the Zoo Marine park is a must - swim with dolphins in a safe, controlled environment.
