Vacation Rental Description

This is a great rental house in beautiful Stonington, Maine. This classic Victorian house is situated in the village of Stonington with a great view of the Harbor. Sit on the lawn and enjoy views of the islands, tall ships, and lobster boats! Take a walk through the town and enjoy this wonderful seaside village. Stonington boasts casual and fine dining, many shops, numerous art galleries, and antique stores. Activities include a theater and live music. The front unit of the home has 3 BR, 1.5 BA (2 additional bedrooms and 1.5 baths from the back unit are also available with rental of rear unit [also has great views]). The house has a full kitchen with dining area, and a living room that overlooks beautiful Stonington Harbor and the islands. We purchased this house in June 2003, and we have updated almost everything. The house has all new, high-quality appliances (washer/dryer, gas oven/range, refrigerator, and microwave). All bathrooms have been completely renovated. All beds feature brand new, pillow-top mattresses to ensure a restful night's sleep. The house has been repainted, and the living room and kitchen floors refinished. There is even a brand new furnace and central heat system as well as a new roof and new windows! This rental home will give you the comforts of a new house with the character of a 19th century New England Victorian.

The kitchen upgrades include a new gas oven/range, microwave and refrigerator. We added new Cuisinart cookware and a set of Caphalon knives. We even have a KitchenAid mixer! We love to cook, so we equipped the kitchen with everything that we enjoy using! Your vacation home also has new linens and towels. We think it is one of the best equipped rental homes that you will find. There is even a DVD library for your enjoyment!

Free Internet Access: we have arranged for local internet (dial-up) access from June - October each year. This is a free service available at no additional charge.

The classic Victorian consists of two rental units. The prices quoted are for three bedrooms and six people in the front unit. Extra bedrooms are available with rental of the rear unit (2 BR and 1.5 BA, complete kitchen, and living area) or you can rent the rear unit alone for a rate slightly lower than the front unit. We offer discounts if you rent both units at the same time.
